CLUB MARINOLE’S COVID-19 PLAN

Club Marinole is open and in full compliance with the State of Ohio Guidelines for Pool Operation.  To help us out, and to make sure everyone is aware, we are asking a representative from each family (over the age of 18) to sign an Acknowledgement of the existence of these guidelines and to ensure you are adhering to them.  We will have copies of the guidelines available at the front desk.  The Acknowledgment will be at the front desk for your signature on Opening day, or whenever your family first makes it up to see us.

In addition to the State of Ohio Guidelines, Marinole has a few changes for 2020.  Please bear with us for the beginning of our 2020 season as we are all learning how to deal with this pandemic. At this point we don’t know what to expect and how many members we will have; so, for now these are the guidelines that Marinole is emphasizing to stay compliant with the Ohio Department of Health.  We will communicate with you and our staff if there are any changes as we learn this new process.  Thanks for understanding.

  • For the time being, parties are no longer allowed. Per ODH guidelines, groups of more than 10 people are not permitted.  Free guest Friday’s are also on hold for now until further notice.
  • Furniture on the pool deck and loungers may not be moved by members. Members are welcome to bring personal furniture, but still must maintain the 6-foot distance. (After the use of a lounger, please fold down the headrest to indicate to our staff it needs to be cleaned.)
  • Please bring your own pool toys. Marinole will not be providing any this year.  Playground equipment is also currently off limits.
  • Concessions will only be selling items that are prepackaged in order to limit our workers from touching your food.

Membership- We are still accepting memberships.  We don’t anticipate having any issues with limiting access through the gate.  We have plenty of land and we will make announcements over the PA if we need to change our rest period schedule to accommodate a swimming rotation if it gets too busy.  Please contact Sarah Howdeshelt (info@clubmarinole.com) with any questions or see the Manager on duty at the pool.

Swim Team – We are still working with our swim team league (GDSA) to evaluate having a swim team following the Ohio guidelines.  Our season has officially moved to the month of July.  This schedule might be adjusted or canceled with evaluating the ongoing situation.  We will keep the website updated.  Please contact Jennifer Suiter (info@clubmarinole.com) with any questions.
